Kaneohe Bay Drive

Problem: 6-ft. max height retaining wall to be built on edge of a 20-ft. grade difference between properties, and on expansive soil (clay).

Solution: Micropiles incorporated into reinforced Grade Beam and Tie-back Anchors incorporated into reinforced Integraspec wall. Wall was finished with Sto and back-filled to create driveway for client.

Mauna Lani Circle

Problem: Downslope lot, retaining walls cracked and moving.

Solution: Grout-injection Micropiles installed straight down and at angles into walls (Tie-back Anchors) and water redirected.

Problem: Neighboring hillside homes' retaining walls moving. High traffic portion of Sierra Drive threatened.

Solution: Grout-injection Micropiles and Tie-back Anchors installed and incorporated into reiinforced Garde Beams and Ribs to stabilize hillside and walls.

Off Kaneohe Bay Drive

Problem: Chunks of rock wall falling vertically onto house below due to erosion.

Solution: Grout-injection Micropiles installed straight down and at angles into hillside. Grade Beams formed incorporating tops of Micropiles and Anchors, then Duralagg wall built up to give client a safer backyard.

Problem: Hilside home, retaining walls cracked and moving.

Solution: Grout-injection Micropiles installed straight down and at angles (Tie-back Anchors) into walls , buttresses formed incorporating MIcropiles and Anchors.
